Does the kraken attack sloops?

    The question is in the title but, does the kraken attack sloops. I assume it does but I'm have not seen any sloops get attacked by it.

    Yes indeed. I’ve been attacked while sailing a sloop.

    Yes it'll wrap its tentacles around the aft or front of the sloop I think. However I'm 99% sure the Kraken can only be triggered by a galleon.

    I never found one, it likes juicy targets with a deck filled with chests, for a solo player that's not very clever.

    Yes it does if the sloep sails into an area where a kraken attack is active. However, if you are sailing a sloop it won't attack you when you're out on the seas.

    Yes. Watched it wreck two sloops at once before my team sailed up and wrecked it with the last swimming survivor of one of the sloops.

    They say theres a hidden secret as to why the kraken targets galleons, a very small easter egg on shipwreck bay. Maybe future content but also a shoutout to a very old game they made before they renamed the company RARE

    Yes it can attack a sloop, if the sloop sails into the ink of a kraken attack on galleon ( so technically no it cant trigger the attack) but it can attack if in its area

    I once had the ink come up to me while on a Sloop. I didn't know what it was at the time (first week) and scared the heck out of me. Then it just moved away. * shrug *

    I think the reason the kraken doesn't attack sloops is because he will sink it easily. I sailed into the ink once with a sloop and lost my boat within minutes.

    I've never encountered the kraken on a sloop. The very first time I ever took a galleon out on my own, just to play around...wouldn't you know it, the kraken attacked. That was quite an experience.

    @johnson-carl this yeah it can only be triggered by a galleon any person claiming other wise is telling tall tails or have come in from a "triggered" kraken
