I think safe zones is a topic that could use a megathread. There's a lot of people with something to say about it, so they should all be able to talk in one place. It'll help with a little bit of the forum clutter.
Can we get a Megathread for Safe Zone discussion?
@lizardheart I know that, and I support that decision. For me, it's more about keeping the forums clear and concise.
I mean like this one thread called Social Island - Social Hub, I've been trying to clear out whether the guy was proposing a safe zone or not. If he was then surely the mods would have closed it. I mean just read the level of discussion in this thread ...

So no we don't need more of this nonsense. Not in my opinion. Yes we can dream, but when called out on it, just remind people it's a dream or ignore. Do not behave like OP from previously mentioned thread. If it would make life easier for mods, then sure have it there but it's a Pandora box.
rare said they they were not currently discussing safe zones. thus the mega thread was shut down. i dont know if there will be another safe zone mega-thread, but even so, i would disagree. i dont think players should be able to progress while in a safe zone (I.E. turning in chests to a "safe zone") as this would be unfair to the PvP community.
a popular discussion on the original megathread was to add one safe zone, or even better, a small single-island safe server/hub. players cannot bring their loot to this safe zone, but are free to socialize, buy cosmetics, and accept new voyages without being bothered by combat griefers. basically, they just wont have a place to escape to when they have treasure.
i would like it if they made a mega-thread about specifically a social server or hub.

I agree with you, I am NOT a supporter of safe zone. The ONLY reason I'm suggesting a megathread is because "safe zone" posts are flooding the forum. I had forgotten about the previous megathread that was shut down. I agree that they should NEVER be added to Sea of Thieves, but that megathread would have helped keep the forums a bit cleaner.
@lizardheart Not if a certain khaleesi I know States right off the bat that it's not happening and they need to limit discussion to the megathread.
