Small bug with sword thrust

  • While I was playing the scale test I noticed that, if you are just about standing on land and deep enough in the water, you can thrust your sword and travel through the water very fast, making it very easy to get back to your ship.

I think its a bug, I mean it really doesn't seem like a big bug to report but just putting it here just in case to help out. not sure if someone mentioned it already.

    thank you

  • @salazar-armando Happens to everyone

  • It's exploited a lot. I would like them to fix it.

  • its not a bug. you should watch some advanced sword play. bet there is a lot you are missing with swords.

    And what exactly for? lol

  • @face-0-o I mean... I guess it's a convenience. Not a huge deal just seems not intended by Devs.

  • Not a bug, it's a feature lol

  • Hope they don't fix. Has become an unintended mechanic ;)

    How rude!!

I love this technique and it has given me the edge.

  • Oh yeah, you can also do this anywhere else. Hold block and begin charging your sword strike. Holding block also allows you to move freely while charging it up. And then right before the attack releases, or right after..... I don't remember the timing right off hand, cause it's difficult to get it... You jump. It flings you around just like doing it through the water. Not quite as far of course, but still.

  • I don't think this is a bug and is intended for different play styles. Not everyone wants to sit still and sword fight, not everyone wants to move around and sword fight. Every player is different.

There is technically nothing wrong with that either.

Watch and learn boys and girls

  • He means specifically when you lunge and go skating across the water for some distance and at some speed.

Hopefully they keep it in because it added convenience from going between your ship and to land

  • @k7-issues I do it right after :)

  • @salazar-armando Yes... Yes, you can. I like it. A lot.
