Hi, I'm pretty new on this forum, but since the title suggester thingy up here didn't find for me threads that are the exact same as this one, I hope that I don't come here repeating the same things you already read over and over; and I'm done with my premise.
What I came here to say is that even though I loved my time spent in the beta and scale test, I and my friends felt that there are some edges that are still pretty rough.
We play on PC, and one of the things we hope to see implemented is an "invite friend" button directly in the game crew interface, without the need to pass through the unintuitive and slow Xbox app.
Another feature I hope to see changed is the fact that if you enter a galleon with a small crew settings you only have 3 player slots, with no possibility to later invite a fourth friend. This forced us to either leave the lobby and create another ship, losing all materials gathered on our ship, or ask the random fourth player to leave to let our friend join in with us, and neither option is very nice.
On this point, we sincerely hope to see added ships with more than 4 player slots, since we're hyping each other and there are around 10 of us that are gonna play SoT from launch or soon after that. A galleon on itself could host probably 6 people before becoming crowded. A nice alternative would be to let players join in friends games with a second ship.
A separate issue we faced was instead of a balance nature: specifically, a tweak on respawn. We found ourselves having to leave a lobby because a galleon was spawn camping us, and sunk our ship 4 times in a row without even gaining anything besides holes in their ship and their pirates. We even sunk them a couple times, but the respawn was so close that we didn't have time to do anything before they came back with a brand new ship. This applies in other phases of the game, too: having to defeat a crew 3 times after sinking their ship and stealing their treasure is quite an hassle. While I think that a rematch chance is quite a good thing to have, if someone steals your treasure, this needs to be balanced, for example with increasingly farther spawns.
EDIT: one thing I forgot to add: I hope to see implemented an aim sensitivity slider. I'm sure I'm the 10.000th to say this, but not being able to set my preferred sensitivity wile aiming with weapons like the Eye of Reach is quite frustrating, and makes the weapon almost useless.
I hope this posts will reach the devs, because I can see the passion and care that's being put into the game, and the focus they're putting on fun.
Thanks for reading this far, I look forward to read your opinions.
