Crooked Masts - lone painted tentacle - can't find it

    I got this riddle now for the second time. And for the second time i'm walking up and down this island for hours. There are two lone painted tentacles on Crooked Masts but none of them works. Is there a third one or is this just broken? It's the first map i got from a 180G Map so i really don't want to cancel it...

    I also wrote a bug report as i've found similar problems from other users on reddit. But they answered i should ask the community... so i guess there is a way to solve it?

    There is definitely a single painted tentacle, but unfortunately i cannot remember where!!
    Is there one up high near some barrels near the bridge between the 2 peaks??

    @logansdadtoo Yeah it's the one on the second screenshot. Just next to the bridge. But didn't work in both cases i had (play music and today read map)

    @apop1985 It's not that one! Keep going up as far as you can and you will find it. It's across the bridge around the rock and up, basically the last possible point on the island when you're following the paths.

    @apop1985 try maybe to stand directly on the plank (like you want to hug it :D) and change to a weapon and back to the map and read it again :)

    @kiwi1990 thx i will check it next time i get this mission or if i'm near Crooked Masts. Just had a disconnect while asking for help and loosed a 180g mission -.-

    You're like me m8, i seem to remember it being up high!
    Riddle expert @Musicmee seems to think it's on a rock on lower ground.
    All i can suggest is keep looking @Apop1985, it's there somewhere ;)

    @logansdadtoo It's up high painted on the rock across the bridge, I've had to visit that tentacle many times. If memory serves correct it faces the North sea.

    @musicmee In all fairness there are a lot of painted tentacles on that island. The one you may be remembering is a painting of 2 Tentacles (not the one OP posted) which is on the lower area.

    @apop1985 Isn't there one painted on a rock in the cut through between the two peaks just where you land and climb onto the island?

    @katttruewalker There is a rock with tentacles but there are two on this rock where you climb onto the island.

    @musicmee i will continue looking after server restart is done. I don't have the mission anymore but i still want to know where this tentacle is ^^ i got this mission already two times so there is a chance to get it again.

    @lizalaroo yeah there is a cave with tentacles painted on the wall but also didn't work there ^^ i tried it at any place i found a tentacle (or more) just because i didn't know how to solve it ^^

    I'll go & have a look when i get on in a bit, surely it can't be that hard to find a solitary (Mod removed) tentacle.

    Just sailed on over... its right on top of the island - on top of the NW peak, you need to take the rock path out from the cave... there is a torch right next to it.

    There is a lone tentacle painting in the cave passthrough at the top. Go up the south side, then across the bridge to the north. There are two kraken paintings. It's the one on the side of the cave, not the one straight ahead.

    Hey pirates. I think i found the tentacle ^^ It was on the top of the north spike of the island.

    Does anyone know what to do after you find the tentacle like it says go 6 paces east but I can’t find it

    Northern peak, trough the cave and up up up, the painting faces outwards from the isle.

    go up and around the barrels, and to the wall you should find it. took me a while until a skeleton i hit feld that way and P**F! there i was. Hope it will help you out.
