I usually play closed sessions and i always play alone...and today i decided to try an open crew because playing alone can get boring sometimes....
But that was the biggest mistake here ...
A random joined and grieved me throughout my 2 hours of play session...
I had 600k worth of loot .with reaper 5 ..2 Athena 2 COF and a lot ...
I wouldn't mind if I sank to pirates... Because I understand the game mechanics...
But sinking to my own teammate is just where I draw the line ... This is the end ... I'm never playing this game again and I'm pretty sure that many people experience this too ...
RARE as a captain of my ship I get to choose who stays and who i kick out ...
Rare need to fix this immediately
I'm all for them to finally rework the Open Crew system.
But why on God's green earth would you test this with a stacked boat?

In any case, record and report them if it was indeed toxic griefing.Tip: Try finding people to play with (or even a guild) via the official Sea of Thieves Discord server.
As a beginner, expect to sink (esp. as a solo) and sell loot often, do not stack.Did you record and report this person? Also, if kicking others from your ship were ever featured, it would be heavily abused.
You chose to do open crew knowing the risks, but let me guess, it's Rare's fault.

OR, open a Looking for group post, check discord and spot any pirates who are looking to join.

It's an open crew people join and leave ... They were guys before who helped me through my session...
Some are very nice in open crew and some are like this ...And FYI I DID REPORT HIM
@hundredfir50992 mate, your attitude towards other people here on the forums is not only unwarranted it can and will get you reported and ultimately banned from this place.
So maybe cool off a bit before attacking someone who not necessarily had ill intent towards you.
