Pirate movies and shows

    Been a little while since I've played SOT for... "Reasons" but I think what used to get me in the mood for jumping back into the game in the past was after watching pirate movies and shows. Know what I mean?

    I've already seen all of the Pirates Of The Caribbean films multiple times.

    I've already watched Black Sails countless times.

    I've watched different renditions of Treasure Island already.

    I am almost all the way through Our Flag Means Death which is hilarious btw, thanks Jacob! If your out there somewhere...

    So does anyone have any suggestions for any other pirate movies or shows that might get me back in the mood for playing some Sea Of Thieves?

    Also, if you haven't seen some of the mentions I've made, I recommend all of the above providing your the right age group for some of those.

    I've watched different renditions of Treasure Island already.

    yeah I know but often people dont watch, Muppets Treasure Island.

    Pirates (86, oldie but goodie) Sinban legend of the seven seas.
    and cant go wrong with "The Pirates. In an Adventure with Scientists" (stop motion animation)

    @soloventure6142 You guys have already mentioned some good movies and shows here. I would suggest checking some of Errol Flynn movies like: "Captain Blood", "The Sea Hawk" and "Against All Flags"

    Also I'd suggest checking out "Cutthroat Island". Imo this movie never got a fair evaluation although it's way more entertaining than other titles.

    In the end if you'd like a good show "Return to Treasure Island" is a solid choice. Brian Blessed is the best Long John Silver ever!

    Pirates of Dark Water was a good cartoon 😁

    While only pirate adjacent The Goonies was a go to for me as a kid.

    Hook is a neat Peter Pan spin.
