  • Sorry dude, your loot is not yours until its sold. Its fair game to take you out, and its happened to me too, while selling. Part of the game is keeping one eye on the horizon, watching out for tuckers. If Rare wanted players to sell safely, cannons would not work at outposts or the would be NPC that auto killed crews that tried. We would not have tools like Tucking. The game would be poorer for it.

  • its a pirate game

  • Someone got sunk with there 3 hours of non contested treasures. Sigh…
Get a captain ship and sell in one location.

When you first start the game and speak with the pirate lord. I am fully convinced nobody listens to him.
He clearly states. There are other pirates out there who won’t often see eye to eye and you best keep a look out.

  • @wolflord3355

Now imagine how we all had it before sovereign came! It'll happen to you, and you'll do it to others. Don't stack what you're not willing to lose.

Also, if certain selling areas become non-combat zones, all we'd have to do is board your boat, take the treasure and sell it. How are you going to stop us?

  • Sea of Thieves

  • It's a pirate game, friend.

You have many options for just PVE and getting things without PVP. Thousands of games.

    From epics like: Monster Hunter.

Or even Grounded 1 and 2.

And I can keep naming, but SOT is a pirate game. There is no honor, there should be no rules.

  • I can’t see the original post, presumably deleted, but did we really make a post complaining about people sinking ships and stealing cargo in the pirate game?

  • As OP appears to have removed their Post, I'll be dropping anchor here.
