It would be great to see more detailed ship types, possibly with lower-deck cannons and ships featuring lateen sails. Improving ship interiors (for example adding a dining table on the galleon) could also make them feel more immersive.

There were originally going to be about 5-6 ship types. This can be seen in early concept art. Look up "SoT Man o' War" to see the largest one. As for tables, there's already a small cafeteria in the BB. Additionally, more stuff on your ship means dives are slower.

I would also suggest adding a third weapon slot, expanding the map with a new Sovereigns area featuring larger ports and new islands inspired by “A Pirate’s Life,” and allowing players to purchase and customize rowboats.

I doubt we'll see much expansion at this point with the current map, just going other places (see Act 2 of Season 19 ). I agree with buying rowboats, but I'd be surprised if that hasn't been brough up before. Still, they're helpful if you need supplies or a keg.
