Anyone else trying to give out obsidian grapple guns but finding other pirates aren't able to get it?
I've met up with 6 or so pirates today, three of whom claimed to not have the gift yet, claim that they tried interacting with the emote, but that nothing changed and that they didn't get a pop-up for the reward.
Obviously there's no way I can verify it since its on their end. Just wondering if this has happened to anyone else today.
@locoshanty it is buggy and you sometimes have to be on land or go to the ferry to get it to work. I think all of mine were given out on land, maybe one or 2 on the ship but it was parked at dock.
I encountered this damn thing.
I met someone who was giving gifts, but I couldn't receive them.
The methods I have tried:
Close the game and restart it, rejoin the original ship, on the island, on the ferry of death
Even when I invited the person who tried to give me a gift to my boat, I couldn't receive it.
Since I couldn't claim it, the other party told me they were leaving and asked me to try again the next time I met them.
An unpleasant Christmas.
