That is such a non argument really. Its mostly the Gameplay that keeps the players engaged, no game survives because of cosmetics, bringing old cosmetics will not bringg new or old players back, good gameplay, events, ways of engaging with other players will.
So you get old cosmetics back them what? Its not the cosmetics that retain or increase the player base.
