I am in an Hourglass match as im typing this. The same fight with the same opponent has been going on for 2 hours and counting. The player completely avoids naval pvp and spent the first half hour of the fight trying to board my boat and drive it out of bounds. I managed to get their mast down once and hit their boat a bunch but they continuously sail away and repair. It has been 2 hours and they have completely dedicated their time to avoiding me no matter what. Trust me when i say i would have already left but i am on a 5 win streak, as a fairly new hourglass player this is my highest streak and never happens. Not only that but i have 4 emissary flags i wish to turn in. After an hour and 15 minutes went by, the player then drove out of bounds to the nearest outpost, lowered their emissary, then drove back into bounds and continues to avoid me. Why did they not sink after being out of bounds for 10+ minutes? Why is there no time limit or shrinking zone? Hourglass needs a rework ASAP.

At that point you should have boarded them, mast down = board.

If you don’t like it. Try defending and wait for them come to you. Or don’t use hourglass and just sail around and attack every ship you see.
As above. Your story doesn’t seem to fit everything you are saying and contradicts itself
@super87ghost not gonna lie i shouldnt have to break down every detail for you to comprehend but i had patched tier 3 holes all over my boat from previous games, the player would sometimes ram my boat to get a board or occasionally shoot a single cannon or two just to try and board again but this only happened in the first 30 minutes of the game before their many failed boards attempts and then the real running began. And out of everything you read why is that your only concern
@burnbacon how hard is it for you to understand that players will run and avoid you in hourglass and i just so happened to run into a player that was dedicated to doing just that. This has been a problem for a long time as ive heard. Any player with more than 2 brain cells can agree that hourglass needs a rework. And what about my experience is so hard for you to believe? Lol what a pointless comment this community is intolerable
