Cursed Items

What if when you're sailing the sea and look 'in for treasure you spot a strange look 'in item on the beach maybe a mysterious sword or a glowing gem or an engraved piece of gold so naturally you grab it only to find out that the treasures you grabbed were cursed so now you have to travel the ocean in search for a cure. i found it weird that in this sea where cruses are commonplace there is only one truly cursed treasure which is the skull of siren song i think this would take that idea and evolve it like a sort of message in bottle quest but it's a piece of treasure if you do it without telling people what cursed treasure is in the game it would be even funnier.
