What happens if we dive when we have the friendship flag?

What happens if we have the friendship flag with another crew and then one of us dive for a quest or whatever?
Are we still on the same server or is the friendship broken and we are in 2 different servers?
Never happened to me yet but just curious.

The one who dives will leave the Alliance (what you call friendship), and if there were only two ships in the Alliance, the alliance will be ended.
