blowpipe dart keybind

  • I would love if I could bind it on "R" (reload) but I think the real change should be that you can change the dart anytime.

    You can only use the keybind while walking/standing and with the blowpipe in hand. It feels bad to be running with the blowpipe and not being able to buffer the dart change, or to have my bucket and not being able to use the keybind to choose a dart and that action itself pulling out the blowpipe and start the dart change.

    I've also had issues where the keybind doesn't immediately pop up and I have to wait standing a couple of seconds.

    I love the blowpipe but I feel like it just needs these quality of life changes so it feels more responsive :)

  • One way or another, I do not want to have to navigate through a double-radial to change darts.
    Holding a button for the general radial, then holding a 2nd button at the same time to get the dart radial? Awful.
    Holding reload for a dart radial would be swell.

  • I agree with you radials are great when you don't need a fast action but unfortunately controllers are bloated already as an example switching weapons and the secondary interaction are both the Y button and you can't split both actions which means if you're playing on an Xbox or playstation or just using a controller, if you got any supplies crate or you're fighting near a loaded cannon then you will be opening that crate instead of switching weapons.
    I am lucky because with steam input I can make controller buttons translate into computer buttons but I lost the up Dpad in the process.
    TLDR: as long as SoT is trying to support Xbox consoles there's no new key for them to set to the controllers which increases the accessibility level between consoles and computer.
