Stuck on "signing on to adventure" in both gaming and desktop mode on steamdeck

This is confirmed by many people and getting widespread. This is from the latest update I believe, although perhaps its related to EAC update and my login info was just cached. But its a Steam deck / Sea of Thieves specific issue.
Issue: Cyan beard on login from Steam Deck. On logout, no option to login / game freezes on login step.
Attempted: Everything possible. Proton cache clear, different proton versions, full re-install, desktop mode, etc. Nothing works. In Desktop Mode, if you let it sit for a loooong time, the login window does eventually appear but only as a white window with no contents.

Wednesday I played without any issues. Today I wanted play with my friends and I had this problem. I suppose that the last update broke the game. Really frustrating

Same issue. Started betweeen Wednesday and Friday. Did the same as everyone on here. Tried restarting. Tried reinstall. Tried proton changes.

Really bummed me out and ruined my evening plans to play with my daughter. Trying to get some visibility on the issue.

Exactly same issue here.
Reinstalled, tried both desktop and game mode, double checked proton etc still no joy.

Has more or less worked perfectly until May 3rd.

Hopefully it is just the anti cheat that needs resolving.

I'm kinda of glad it's not just me. I bought the game on PS5 so my son and I can pay together (with me on the Steam Deck). It worked fine up till the 3rd May and now the game will not load on the Steam Deck. I've uninstalled, changed proton and verified the files and now stuck on the sign in for adventure. And the load time was the first warning sign as it says on a black screen for ages before even booting up. It's so frustrating as me and my son were looking forward to pirating and plundering together. I hope they patch soon and I've raised a ticket.

I have the same issue,game was working perfectly fine,i played season 11 normaly then when season 12 started i bought season 12 plunder and it wasnt showing in game but i had it in my library after i contacted both steam and SOT it got sorted but now i cant play it on my steam deck got no option to sign in just freez my screen

I just bought a steam deck to play this game and after it arrived and it downloaded the wopping 100gb it got stuck on login. Glad the team is working on an update to fix the issue because i just spent 5h looking for a fix and nothing worked.

I can confirm I'm finally logged in again. I haven't tried to play yet but at least I've got beyond the signing in for adventure screen for the first time in days.

This still is happening to me, It is weird that my PC needs to use all my ram, disk, GPU, and CPU to sign onto the adventure. How do i fix this
