Not a rant, just the facts. Ever since the release of the anti-cheat system, I can't play this game for more than 2 minutes before I'm disconnected. And no, I am not cheating in any way. So, I went away for a couple months and came back today. Still the same issue. I literally cannot play a session......AT ALL. So I guess I've finally quit after 3600 hours of play.
Forced to quit this game.
Give it 1 week, the new season is nearly here, and hopefully the solution to the issues, just try to reinstall the game fresh when it launches to make sure that easy anti cheat gets refreshed completely since that is the main issue.
I really just wish rare would have prioritized fixing the crashing issue and released the patch as soon as possible rather than waiting for an entire major update to be ready, but not much we can do about it other than wait for the fixes.
Have you raised a support ticket?
Seems a shame to quit the game after investing so many hours into it, if you haven’t.
I am in the same situation as you
Since the last update of the game, it has been totally impossible for me to play for more than 20 minutes at a time without crashes, which for a player like me (Solo Sloop) is often fatal.
I've been unable to play for almost a month now, complaining on Twitter and being totally ignored by the devs, as well as other players who suffer the same problems.
I guess for Rare, we beta testers are no longer needed, once the game is released on PS5 our work for 6 years will be over and we will be forgotten, as they have implied with their silence.I guess that's what we deserve for being so lax in the face of Rare's total incompetence.
