Can we please have the ability to use all versions of a trinket after we buy them, from Admired to Cherished? Would love to display my progress earning them, as well as how some fit the aesthetics of certain ships better depending on the cosmetics used. Doesn't make that much sense permanently replacing a trinket with it's upgraded version after buying the last one and having it be able to stay on a ship after you placed it already.

@pithyrumble Happy we both can agree on that. Plus, the admired versions fit my Dutchman set better.
I've stopped buying cherished now as don't think the look goes well so I'd agree I'd rather have in collection but choose another version.
They did this with the faction figureheads from hourglass rewards.
Weirdly they even made those so that you didn't need to buy previous versions you could just wait and buy the last one.
I saw these concepts of how it should be, we really need this, trinkets are more than trophies, they are decorative pieces. Emporium stuff also needs to be applicable, those frames are horrible.

That concept looks spectacular! I really hope Rare can take a look at this and consider it for the future!
@arthur79474 What I would do is, for normal trinkets the 5 standard bases or frames must be released with miles, for emporium trinkets they must all be released...
Frames or bases that are already in the game on specific items such as Monkey Island frames or Merrick frame should be available for all trinkets without the need for unlocking, whereas new designs that Rare could make could be challenging to acquire.

That could work I think. I like your idea of Rare making new base or frame designs as well.
