Rare please let the player pick server region it is annoying to need to use a vpn to change servers.

I would love it to be an option in-game
I very much enjoy sailing around and encountering people from all over the world.
That was always my favorite part of my open crew adventures, at certain times I had a higher chance of being thrown on a random crew all over the place.
In my experience this game shines the most in solo play and randomly sailing with or around people from different parts of the world.
I would like a "random" option though, that is what I would use.

Rare won’t consider this because it’s too easily exploited by server alliances. To form server alliances many players use vpn to spike servers. What this means is that 10 or more people will “set sail” at the same time in hopes of forcing open a fresh server. Once a 5 ship server is found, the server alliance will cycle people on and off these 5 ships. If people can choose the region they can choose a region that is not populated and have a greater chance of landing a 5 ship server.
You won’t play the game at midnight, will you? Server alliances use vpn to pick a location where it’s the middle of the night where most people are sleeping and few servers are active.
@burnbacon because it is based on ip address and a VPN will change it to change server so I guess I don't need to but if I want to play the game under 200 ping I have to
@phantaxus it's not like that I mean the ping is terrible and it causes to much hit reg teleporting and lagging
