Does it make sense to use Port Marrick as a security area, with NPC guards attacking anyone showing acts of war during the tenth season? So initially newcomers would have a place to be protected and Port Marrick would represent its namesake and an almost peaceful place. It may be possible to remind aggressive players of the Piratecode, which does not prohibit pillage, but nevertheless encourages each other to do so. I'd love to hear your thoughts on this idea. Even if it shouldn't be an option. Best regards MikeChipp
Port Marrick: security area
Ahoy, going to be dropping anchor on this thread as there is a post about Rare's thoughts on PvPvE (including a link to the Sea of Thieves Podcast that discusses it) here: https://www.seaofthieves.com/community/forums/topic/136693/pvpve-the-team-s-thoughts/1
You can read an article by Joe here in regards to Private/Custom Servers.
Thank you.
