Obsidian sniper is free now?

    I literally spent about 2 years entering giveaways from streamers until i was able to win the obsidian sniper, and some people actually paid a pretty penny for the 6-pack (hundreds of dollars) so they can have their obsidian sniper as well.

    I get on and see that now is free from simply having a game pass, this is another slap on the face to the loyal dedicated players, I remember a similar issue with the legendary seadog weapons, that they got turned green or something like that and given away after we sweated to get our 240 arena wins and stuff.

    Arena gone, hard to get cosmetics now free, hourglass being dominated by cheaters who even have the nerve to stream it to hundreds of players.

    This sucks

    If the only reason you like your cosmetics is because its exclusive or hard to get, rather than because you just like it, then i would say you like your cosmetics for the wrong reasons. Its no ones fault if you chose to spend money on a give away item that shouldnt be getting sold in the first place.

    Yeah I got it, too, along with the fishing rod and the sails. I guess it pays to look at the what's new thing every once in a while. I just like the eye of reach cuz it looks cool, and the fishing rod finally gave me a fish rod that I liked cuz I don't have anything default on my character. Also, the obsidian eye of reach works well with the mercenary set, which I do plan on using for something funny.

    You must buy gamepass ultimate and you get it as a perk.

    I mean, they made the game so, they're allowed to do whatever they want with it.

    You are buying straight from the source. Seeing as that Rare works with Microsoft, nothing bad about that.

    Those who scalped and marked up the price and those who bought from them are at fault. And if is fine.

    You got it for free, that's great. But why do you need to sulk about others getting it?

    It is still a great skin.
