@eon7071 you? or AI? 😂who gets the prize?
Mystery [Mega Thread]
@eon7071 Copying and pasting the same thing is just spam....at best it is spoilers. Please refrain from doing so in the future.
If you happen to have solved it, good luck you for the rest of it, just please don't post it here.
Thank You.
So what we got so far..
Fruit Crate with markings of every fruit we can eat on the side
These symbols were used from images found on some google drive. Each that gave us set of Letters-Banana = DKH
-Coconut = BNR
-Pomegranate = ASL
-Mango = ITD
-Pineapple = GYJJ
How you solve this was using the "Pig Pen" Cipher thing. (who is even smart enough to figure that out solo)Using the Fruit Crate again, the symbols of the fruits is the order of the Letters.
DKH BNR ASL ITD GYJJSide note: When you enter in your submitted answer, it can only be 30 characters long. (including spaces)
so keep that in mind, it could be a short answer or long one.- FRUIT that’s stored in tuneless DRUMS of wood. Barrels? Planks?
@burnbacon
If you put those letters on the end of a bitly link, you get to the quest for the golden bananas video. I don't think they have use beyond that.
"http://bit.ly/DKH-BNR-ASL-ITD-GYJJ"Something about the video is the next clue.
@grumpyw01f someone said that that bitly link was made recently, i dont fully know but people are saying that it is a fake link and if you put a + at the end of the bitly link it tells you the date it was made. But again, i dont know that kind of stuff that great so it could still be real.
@siesmic-sea
Oh you're right it's probably a decoy made by a playerSorry, I wasn't participating for the last 8 hours and trying to catch up
I'm barely able to keep up with what's happening, so this is probably a stupid question, but what pigpen cypher is everyone using? There is more than one kind, right?
If I remember correctly, in the announcement for the mystery, didn't Rare mention the pirate La Buse (Olivier Levasseur)? He used a form of pigpen cypher to hide his treasure that was different from others I've seen when googling "pigpen cypher". Is his cypher the one people are using already? If not, has anyone tried to use his pigpen cypher to decode the symbols found?
Just wondering out loud.
@tangus-00 I just searched for a pigpen cipher on google and I've been getting the same answers as other people.
I used this site to sort of catch myself up on the clues but I'm stuck on how to use them.
@tsarnikita too bad it doesn't give anything a bit clearer. Just seems coincidental that they reference a pirate who created his own pigpen cypher and then we seem to need one to solve this clue.
Oh well, that's all I've got to contribute to the cause, haha!

@grumpyw01f The video is fake. someone figure out that video was posted today
what video
guys, i found some food codes for pineapples which might be more usefull than bananas. also, pineapples also have a "skin of gold."
here is just a link to what I found, make sure to scroll down.
@siesmic-sea HEY, I JUST REALIZED, If you look at the photos on the OneDrive their background seems strange, Maybe if it is sharpened it will give us a clue?
@tsarnikita I raised the contrast, raised the clarity, and lowered the blur but nothing was behind it. Ill keep trying to see if I can get anything though.
@siesmic-sea Nothing else popped out, I think the message behind them was just the Spotify link and the pigpen characters.
@undeadmonk3y42 When I was copy and pasting the pigpen codes into the puzzle answer, I tried using the actual pigpen symbols and in the puzzle text box, the characters changed to "CHAR (72)" that was just the one I can remember but there were other numbers too.
@undeadmonk3y42 said in Mystery [Mega Thread]:
If you rotate the pinapple code instead of flipping it, you get LLXI, right? Which is the roman numeral for 71. Not sure if that's significant or if anyone's said anything about it.
So if you rearrange the code so that all the fruit is to the left you get HKD BNR LLXI DTI ASLIf you then organize according to IG picture of a fruit crate with all the fruit on it, it's in this order:
banana, coconut, pomegranate, apricot, pineapple
HKD BNR ASL DTI LLXI
Just spit-balling at this point.
@cpt-darknite said in Mystery [Mega Thread]:
@undeadmonk3y42 71 would be LXXI, LLXI doesn't translate to a roman numeral
I blame it on puzzle mania and lack of sleep
@undeadmonk3y42 - the lost Freemason treasure from the movie National Treasure was easier to locate, follow and find then this....this is intense... AND its only the first of four! - BIG thank you to everyone helping
@undeadmonk3y42 Just didn't want you chasing a dead end, I've seen the same thought on the rarethief site and the discord channel
