As the title indicates, finished the event for today, shows in the log as finished, but didn't get the sails, logged in and out and still no sails but my ship name got reset.
Clearly no one even tested this. Do they even have a QA team at Rare or do they just code it and check it in without unit or quality testing?
EDIT: This is a bad layout on the in-game screen, cursed sails is the title, but it is listed at the bottom in the rewards so it looks like it is a reward.

Those are the wrong sails, there are 2 sets, the ones for day 3 and the ones for the Skeleton event.

Only one challenge has been active so far. So you’ve completed three goals from one challenge.
Did you just check this thread in without any testing/validation of the requirements?

I see what they did, on the rewards screen they list "Cursed Sails" but that is the title of the goal set, they put the title at the bottom not the top so it looks like it is a reward.
Titles go at the top normally.

Ahh they use free employees for QA...
@foambreaker not really. Rare doesn’t push things for insider testing until it is basically ready and we just point out things they might not have noticed due to our individual settings on our machines and screens, connection, region, language, and personal observations.
Lots of games have insider programs where they ask their player base how they feel about this or that idea. It’s kind of like how movies are screened in front of a selected audience to see how it will rate or if it should be edited differently, etc… before actually being released to the public.
