Can't make support ticket - help needed.

  • Hello,

I've been trying to create support ticket for about 2h now and I'm in a loop - go into support page, click "raise a support request", get redirected into Microsoft login, I do log in and get redirected into SoT home page without being logged in. I tried logging in on SoT site before clicking support, I've tried different browsers, resetting router, using VPN - all to no avail.

About the problem - I really wanted to aquire trinket "Serpent's flame" for "Minutes Spent on fire", I currently have lvl 62 and no trinkets are unlocked. I would be really grateful for some help from Rare Support.

  • Here is a direct link to create new tickets https://support.seaofthieves.com/hc/en-gb/requests/new keep it bookmarked to make it easier to refer to when you need to submit new bugs you come accross.

  • @th3xr34p3r The direct link doesn't work if you're stuck in the login loop.

I think the only way to fix it is to nuke all your browser cookies for seaofthieves.com and microsoft.com. I have the same issue on two different computers now but I haven't gotten around to trying to fix it yet.

You would need to clear the browser cache and try again, ctrl+r will reload the page and clear the cache for that tab for you (works in discord as well to reload it when you have issues with it). If need be set the DNS on your modem/router to cloudflare and google: 1.1.1.1 and 8.8.8.8 as primary and secondary and test, you can also set the secondary to 1.0.0.1 or 8.8.4.4 if needed. if you want to try a more secure DNS you can use quad9: 9.9.9.9 or openDNS: 208.67.222.222 or 208.67.220.220.

Doing this will also test if your ISP provided DNS can be an issue with some sites you would normally visit.

  • @silveravox Try this. After you log in and it sends you to the page with all the categories, hit back to return to the previous page. If that doesn't open it, try back one more time. I have found that sometimes works for me when I am met with a loop of logging in and redirect to categories instead of opening a new ticket.

Oh that reminds me after the log in with the account I sometimes have to reopen the bookmarked link so that it loads up the ticket creation option, I almost forgot that step.
