Missing/Corrupt data file

    Hey, just reinstalled SoT after a few months of not playing. Tried to boot up the game and got the message "There is a missing or corrupt data file that is required for the game to run.", and the error code is P02. Any ideas on how to fix it? So far, here's what I've tried:

    • Uninstalled and reinstalled (Twice)
    • Verified integrity of game files (Steam)
    • Updated drivers
    • Updated windows
    • Whitelisted SoT on my antivirus

    I don't think it's my hardware, because I also recently reinstalled Fallout 4, and no problems arose. This only happens for SoT.

    It says missing or corrupt data file. If it's there in the correct location, I guess it's corrupt.

    @exemptedox53166 Delete the indicated data file; do not verify game files afterwards. Multiple files may be corrupted so this process may need to be repeated until the client successfully launches.
