Show your weapons

    I would like to be able to display my weapons, it would be interesting to increase the customization. Some NPCs show off their weapons instead of just disappearing with them.

    I believe there is no limitation to make this work, it just adjusts to character models and makes it invisible at certain times, like when the character sits in the chair or does an emote.

    It is also necessary to be able to enable and disable this option, if the player wants to have a clean look he must be able to disable the display of weapons individually. Being able to display only sword, or only pistol...

    • Weapon positions would be:
      Sword on the left side
      Pistol on the right side
      Sniper and blunderbuss in the back.

    @lleorb Rare talked about this some time ago and it was down to the weapons would either clip to much into some player models or float to far off them and in both cases it didn’t look great so they choose not to do it don’t get me wrong I’d love for us to see the weapons every pirates has on them could be awesome but as of right now I don’t see it happening anytime soon maybe they’ll find a work around

    Weapon emotes. This was the solution of working within the technical hurdles of the player model difference to display weapons.

    Well they do make a ton of emotes for all character sizes, so I see no reason why it would be harder to make this work.

    @otherfanboy I'd rather weapons clip bodies.. than have my enemy pull weapons out of thin air...

    @treefittymonsta same but I get why they didn’t it does look weird and I’d be lying if I didn’t say it doesn’t bug me when I see in other games

    I do not agree. Every time I see clipping in games, it grinds my gears.
