I've had more time to play Season 5 than the others. I've been fighting in the arena and adventure mode and noticed that silent boarding is still taking place, not most cases, but it's a big part. Even though the volume of the music is at least high and the sfx is loud, the sound of boarding is not taking place. Has this been happening to you too?
Another question, but maybe that's just an impression of me. Each update appears that the audio settings become misadjusted, even though they are at the same values as they were before the update. So I have to change them simply to go back to the same values then and everything goes back to normal as it was before the update.

Silent boarding is still a thing. There's a way to do it but it's probably not appropriate to post on here because it may be deemed as an exploit. Boarding "normally" produces the audio que now unlike last season. Also boarding from under the water level produces a reduced audio que so that may be why you're not hearing it.

This has happened in both cases, when someone tries to board my ship, or when I board the enemy ship. For I realize that the other crew did not realize my presence until i'm on deck, already fighting with them. Taking the stairs below the water line I've already realized it works, because I do it. Now, the means of making the silent boarding, I thought it was fixed, and had become a little more unconcerned about it in the fights. It's time to get back to the practices before this supposed fix.

Are you talking about the board by rowboats and harpoons? That's not an exploit, as far as I know

Also, I do believe boarding via harpoon or rowboat by grabbing them from the water line is actually an exploit and not intended but it's never been confirmed.

Something like this has happened to me this season, especially when the boats collided. I was simply transported to the hold of the enemy ship. It seems that the more things happen at the same time, the physics of the server becomes chaos

Either way, the fact that they corrected some of the silent boarding proves that it's an exploit in general. I'd hope that they're doing some work to correct the remaining silent boarding exploit that their partners demonstrate daily on Twitch...or embrace and endorse it like the sword lunge.

Not in my case. An example yesterday, we were on a chase, and I went down the sloop to get water and put out a fire, and my partner didn't look at the mermaid at sea, and suddenly a pirate was on board anchoring us, without that sound of boarding

I'm no snitch but I met a dude the other day who literally could run up ladders with his gun out. Like shoot while running up the ladder.
Like when I say running he wasn't climbing it he was literally running up it. Like his feet were on it but his body sticking up.
Craziest thing.
Like he was practicing it and asking me if I wanted to learn it.
Then he started asking me how I feel about people using cheats and hacks. I said considering the game doesn't even have a K/D I thinks it's stupid and disconnected.
I know he was just trolling but the point is yes, yes it's happening.
Is it happening so much and so often that it is ruining my enjoyment of the game? No, no it is not.

pfff you guys should try playing the game being deaf, silent boarding exploit is least a concern when you can't even hear gunfire.
I still await the day subtitled sounds get added, if they get added. Can't play until they do.
