Captain’s Key - Ship’s Manifest Voyage

  • Captain’s keys should be made a voyage “guest item” and not loot. So rather than getting attacked and not being able to get in the captains quarters at all, you have the chance of getting some of that loot.

Tired of doing all that grinding just to get close to the end, solo-slooping, get attacked, getting the manifest alone and next to no loot.

It would definitely make leveling up in that category feel like less of a chore.

  • If they were quest items then you wouldn’t be able to sell them.

Just don’t solo-sloop, or get good at it. You could also just run opposite of the wind and leave any other ship way behind. Solo-sloopling is only meant for the most experienced players.

Here’s is a link to the Sea of Thieves discord. You can find someone in there so you don’t have to solo sloop anymore.

  • @lostboy8404 lol grinding? This is literally a 15-20 minute quest from voyage table to turn-in SOLO. Also, up until you get to the wreck, you are 99% of the time on your ship. Are your eyes broken and can't see another ship approaching?!

If you are that worried about being attacked as well, don't raise an emissary flag.

Yeah, would be quite terrible not being able to sell them as 50% of the wrecks don't spawn to use the key on.

  • @lostboy8404 if you think leveling up merchants is a chore now you should have tried leveling up before you got the equivalent of a merchant vault or Emissary

  • @robby0316 I remember levelling up the faction with animals and many forts battles for those crates. Good times

I edit this for you: for those silk crates and sometimes spices...as those merchant stronghold crates didn't exist...

Those were dark grindy times, no stronghold kegs either!

No mermaid gems, banana and cannonball crates sell for 300 gold (wood crates didn't exist, at least the voyages for them)...the game got so much stuff now, when you think of the early days...

  • You shot yourself into the knee by writing that you are a Solo-Slooper.
No one has pity or empathy with a Solo-Slooper - everyone will only tell you to man up or "friend up".
    Even I. Sorry dude.
This is absolutely not how the game is meant to be played, at least not constantly.
