It would be nice to see more marks on navigation map when you plan a complex voyage.
For example classic X mark, numbers or colors to mark order of island visits and target types.
I don't think it's difficult to implement like cannonball or fishing bait selection.

Do not worry young padawan, a time will come some day, when you will only use the map to scan for reapers/emissaries because you will be able to tell where you are and where you're heading just by looking at the horizon.
