Old thread was locked, so I opening new one. Probelm with freezing during ALT + TAB back into game, game freeze and here is no way how to fixing, changing settings etc. dont helping, change preferences like turn off full screen optimalisation etc. Dont help. I pray for fast fix please :). Is really annyoning, when you hear in windows something happening in game and u cant react, or you swapping back into game and you dont know if game will crash or not, so you click and eat your food, smash the barrel etc.

Yep, this has been a problem ever since the release on Steam. They release a patch that fixes it, then another patch that makes it worse again. It just how it goes unfortunately. I've complained about this problem on these forums and Steam forums so hopefully they find a permanent fix to this.

@blind1998 yeah I've been playing for a few years on the Windows Store version, tried the Steam version today cause it was on sale. The alt+tab delay is absolutely horrible, already in the process of refunding it.

I wish they'd communicate with us about whether this is being fixed or not, considering this has apparently been an issue for a long time after doing some research. I've been playing on Steam version for almost a year and have never had this happen until about 5 days ago, when this thread was remade.

I really do not feel like going back to the MS version, as I prefer to have my stuff on Steam, play with most of my friends through Steam and the Xbox app is absurdly atrocious. Saddest part is the lag between tabbing out is way more bearable than how awful, buggy and laggy the Xbox app can be. Hope this gets fixed soon.
