Seapost Upgrades (Sell At Seaposts)

    Seapost as they are now seem kind of half-realized IMO. I think it would be great if we could sell anything and everything to seapost merchants for half or a quarter of worth/reputation. Basically, the seapost merchant would be the middle man, taking our wares off of us and selling them to the respective trading companies for a cut of the profits.

    I also think it would be great to have unique looking rowboats parked at each seapost that belong to the merchants that we can use. (How else do they travel to and from the seapost?)

    I don't know if Rare wants to create more opportunities to sell loot all over the map. In some cases there is a seapost that is crazily close to a nearby fort, which would make selling loot from these forts (especially stolen loot after a stealth play) much easier. I think part of the game is having the navigate safely back to port with your bounty.

    I don't really have an issue with it because of the profit loss

    risk/reward if people wanna take a cut for traveling less distance or doing a drive by then it's alright in my view as it doesn't disrupt the current system

    half price and no emissary bonus.

    would need to figure out gem distribution option or just make it to where gems only count for hunter's at a seapost

    Wouldn't change much at all. Nobody like me on the pve end is gonna do it and sacrifice that sort of profit we are still gonna have piles of loot floating around.

    People that use this are the types that are probably going to lose it more often than not anyway. They take too long at events, they make poor strategic choices often, and this isn't gonna change much of that.

    It's not something I care much about either way but it wouldn't result in much difference out there in reality
