I bought some sails and cannons in the emporium, but my ship still has the defaults.. where do I find the purchased items and outfit them?

Once you purchase anything in the Emporium you can then find your items in your corresponding chests... If you purchased ship cosmetics you will find them in the chest at the shipwright on the outpost. The outfits will be in the costume tab in the clothing chest on your ship or outside the clothing store.
