Crewmate and I have a battle with a skeleton galleon. Both of us sink, but our rowboat survived! We gather up their loot and our loot in the rowboat. It's loaded with goodies. Then we row to a nearby seapost, thinking that one of us will stay with the goods while the other mermaids back to the boat and comes back over. However, the choppy seas wound up putting us under the dock...and instantly got teleported off to another island. Thankfully we were able to get back to the outpost in time. The rowboat was still there with our stuff. Even so, this mechanic is broken. Utterly broken. Why can't it just move you a little out of the stuck area if this happens? Or give you time to fix the situation yourself? When we got back, I was able to swim and shove the rowboat out from under the dock, but we never had a chance to do that initially.
The "Stuck" mechanic is infuriatingly broken!
@wolfmanbush Sure, but doing it instantly without even giving the player an option? That's excessive. If the game thinks you're stuck, maybe give you an option to hold a key/button to black screen, maybe add a countdown timer too or a means to dismiss it. It shouldn't instantly kick in and screw you over.
