I was playing sea of theives and u thought of an idea for end game players that hit max level in all factions. Usually everyone is very excited to hit pirate legend and be able to do athena quest but what do you do after you hit 75 in all factions besides run around and get a lot of gold stored up. My idea is there should be a way to prestige your pirate and when you prestige you keep all of your cosmetics from before but your gold is reset and when you turn in you get a gold bonus for being prestige and you get access to exclusive cosmetics in the shops and there can be a max of 3 prestige tiers. Idk I just thought that would be something good for players that are maxed and have nothing to do when they play.

@showmeurguts429 to be fair tho everyone likes to rush their level 75's and Athena 20 but they always lack the commendations. Something people look over as a way to show one's real hard work. Titles people can only dream sometimes to have for they will never put the work in. Prestige is interesting tho my personal opinion doesnt make much sense.
We have players that are as old as the Sea of Thieves they themselves gain many tales and items mere swabbies will dream of at night. There is always something to do. Some special equipment, that weird commendation with the coolest title to its accomplishment.

Prestige is lame. All it does is promote the grind - and that's not what sailing this Sea is all about.
@galactic-geek Exactly! There is something to do when you max out everything. Play the game! Battle other crews, since every battle always pays out differently, steal loot, have good times. The game is NOT about reaching PL and maxing out rep and commendations. All that is just a way to show off your adventures. The game is about having FUN in a multiplayer pirate sandbox. Not about grinding the heck out of it cos that's not fun. I tried grinding GH Emissary last week to get those sweet sails from the Ledger, ended up reaching Captain Tier and got so sick of it that I didn't wanna play SoT for a few days lol. Grinding isn't fun.
