If we cant get more land maybe we can have more ocean? Now I know that most people already find it unbearable to spend 5 minutes to get to an island but realistically it would take days to travel to another island. Sooo if we can't have more land because Microsoft has bad servers or whatever the reason I've been told that is technical and not artistic vision.
I know there is something to do with the game server not being to handle so much data but I feel like having more ocean is less data consuming than islands? Idk what I'm talking about I just want a bigger map.
The islands just seem really close together. Sanctuary Outpost and Golden Sands are super close. I feel like it took longer to travel in Legend of Zelda Windwaker. I wouldn't mind even having an alternate map from adventure mode. So instead of our normal map we have a choice between 2 different adventure modes. So you click adventure mode and it's like "Maiden's Map or Voyagers Map" the voyagers map implies a bigger map with less islands and more ocean. Maybe like 4 outposts. A north outpost, south outpost etc. In my Pirate retirement I love sailing and dont mind how long it takes. Most players I've met will watch youtube or something in between islands which is incredible because it really doesnt take that long to travel. Idk. Maybe I play too much because I know the map without looking at a map now.
Imagine taking 1 full day to get to an island, which has the data equivalent of shores of gold.
Another idea is that we have 4 island the size of shores of gold. And only 1 outpost in the center of the map, but this is a bigger outpost and has several gold hoarder tents etc. This "Legend's Outpost" would be the size of shark bait cove.
That name just inspired me that what if this alternate map was a pirate Legends only map? That would take the load off angry PvE kids as the majority of good players would potentially flock to this new map.
I have other ideas like since we can only have 24 players per server what if we had like 12 sloops, 8 brigs, 6 galleons. (Ship specific servers). I'm just spit balling here dude I just want a bigger map :'(
