Idle timer

    Hello,

    I have read all the posts and reasoning behind having an idle kick timer of 10 minutes.
    Still, I don't see any reason why it could not be increased to 15 minutes instead.
    10 minutes is too fast to do normal real life activities which require you to go out of your house such as getting fast food from the restaurant.

    I understand that any other activity in your house allow you to move your mouse from time to time but it's irritating to come back from getting food to be kicked out when you have emissary rank5 up and an athena quest ongoing in a solo game after hours of playtime.

    I don't think I am asking for much to increase the idle kick timer to 15 minutes.
    Please consider it! :)

    @frozywozy There have been times when I have been scrolling through the reputation section and taking notes from the likes of the Legends of the Sea element, only to be kicked, so I agree.

    Personally I would like to see the reputation section accessible from the menu, but that is another issue.

    Hello - Please change the idle timer to 15 minutes. 10 minutes is too short and can waste hours of progress when running solo. 15 minutes is not too much to ask - please put yourself in the position of someone gathering supplies for 4 hours and then getting kicked because he was distracted 10 minutes. Please increase the timer to 15 minutes to avoid getting irritated like that. It would make such a big difference.

    I don't think the solution is to simply increase the AFK timer. While I agree with your descriptions being extremely frustrating we still need to be careful that the world doesn't fill up with AFK'ers.

    Maybe check in on the discord and see if some one can hold your boat for you? I would if I was available.

    But this isn't a "solo game". It's an online multiplayer game with live servers and other real people playing. You want the timer extended to 15 minutes, because it suits you personally, how about if someone else wants 30 minutes? An hour? Where does it end? With everyone just AFK doing nothing?

    Maybe just plan your life better. For example, if it's only 30 minutes until you think you might want to go out for fast food, perhaps loading up Sea of Thieves in the meantime, isn't the best idea.

    This is a 'you' problem, not a game problem. Sorry.
