I'd like a Tall Tale every month, realy love the Story around Sea if Thieves.
Better a tall tale each Two months, than a Monthly time limited event each month...which are annoying and boring.
Yehaaa!!!
Spread the curse in the seas!!
@bugaboo-bill I would like them to bring the Old Mother in a tall tale, this time it wont be just tentacles she is going to be much bigger and when she would lose a like half or more health the next sequence would be her sticking her head out and pulling pirates right into her mouth!
About the last thing youve said i personally dont want them to release them each month im not a huge fan of episodic story in a way that we will have to wait each month for more.
I like it the way it is in the game like the small changes each month showing the motion of the story with Reaper's hideout and more but actual tall tales each month i wouldnt like that.
Second thing im concerned is that it will lower the quality of them, i rather wait for a good story then a pointless disapointing filler.
@faceyourdemon
@Gundy-the-Shark
When i said monthly i didnt think of they are able to code every month a new tale, but maybe have several Tales in stock.
As if they have 2 or 3 teams who developed it some month ago and then are ready to release them, while Team 2 and 3 are already working on the next one what is then released next month...
I see this would be a huge effort to bring quality Tales.
I just like to immerse, have some story and such. But all fine i fully agree with your concerns.

Old Mother is dead. She won’t be attacking us ever again. What may happen, however, is we might get to see her remains somewhere.

Atlantis.
Not too bad, really i like it if there would be some sort of connection.
@gundy-the-shark I know that its dead so is FlameHeart, yet he is coming back so i dont think its impossible story wise to revive her.
I'm thinking a boulder throwing cyclops roaming a cliff strewn island deep in the shroud would be cool. A river (rowboat) into the island to hunt him in a maze like cavern. If you leave you're ship too close he'll bombard it while you're hunting him. He can climb cliff faces that you can't so you might want to inquire about getting some outside help! His island is full of traps such as pits a teammate will need to drop you a rope to get out of, quicksand, and bat attacks. I think hunting an evasive creature like this would be great.
I just thought of a Tale about the oldest creature :-)
Whatever it is for, i like turtles and when they were mentioned in Stars of a Thief i thought there is maybe something about it.
At least they maybe know something about the Ancients as they're the oldest creature in Sea of Thieves.
I've yet to sea a tortoise in sea of thieves.
What about Sea Turtles who are friendly underwater and provide something good to us and are introduced with a Tale?!
Some interesting stuff about tortoise

@bugaboo-bill who were the ancient ones? Stories and connections can easily be made. Any sea related myth can be translated to the Sea of Thieves. I just feel its time for us to go somewhere new. Even if it's just a city under the ocean.
Who knows who they were, maybe Atlanteans with a sunken city to explore in future updates?!?
And we ride on tortoise back down to it, who knows :-)

im searching for the fountain of youth since i hit 40 so any hints on where to look would be appreciated.
Serik says it's beyond the Shroud.
She's Merricks wife, you know the one who searched and fought the Hungering One and resides at Stephen's Spoils. Leader of the Hunters Call.
Good luck 😂
Thats #bemorepirate as hell.
The Shroud cannot stop us!!!
I already checked the Southwest and tried to figure out what is at this place on the map where that Symbol ☠ is.
Took the Shroudbreaker, but do you know what, it only works in the Northeast.
That Shroudbreaker is fishy thing and works not as intended.
One day we may will find it.
I thibk it's in the Southwest for sure , but keep that for yourself.
I trust you....
Arrrrr not 😂😂😂

If only for the adventure even if we fail its going to be so much fun ill gather a crew of all fat pirates eager to find the fountain and reroll the char. We probably sink by the weight of the crew alone 🙆♂️
I really like my big belly pirate. But he's strong like a Lion and his back can be used as the the Table in the Galleones captains quartier 😉

I would just like to see a drunk pirate make a request of your crew to go out and find some ice to chill his grog. 😅
Haha, nice
Great ideas so far. I have been entertained by the thought of some of these voyages.
Why not stories like those in the Odyssey or other Greek mythology? We had requests for Atlantis and Cyclops.
Or let's just go straight to Jules Verne with Mysterious Island and Nautilus.
So many tales to tell. What makes games better than movies is that you feel like you experienced something.
