Gifts left at the Reaper's Hideout shouldn't despawn.

The only other possible way they could've disappeared but not received commendation was if a crew took them and left with them, but I seriously doubt that.

I've watched someone do exactly that.

@testakleze I suppose it's possible, and I'm not completely ruling it out, I'm just saying that if they do despawn after some time, I don't think they should.

I put up a reaper flag when im at the hideout so far they come to check and understand and so far all peacefull..

Crewmate and myself spent 5 hours collecting gifts and waiting around the Hideout.

Sadly I believe a good bit of pirates just dont know about the event. Ive had pirates simply attack my ship while Im telling them "Take out gifts" only for the following to happen.

• Ignore and "Its Davy Jones for You" quote.
• only to throw them overboard and sail away
• Or simply ignore and chase around until sunk.

Sad. Even waiting by the hideout most avoid or just come rolling in to attack a sitting ship, while all these wonderful gifts sit on the table...for hours.

are the gifts still tied to you if they pick them up, drop them then pick up again and sell or leave for someone else? Or taken to their boat then sold or left for someone else?

@burnbacon Or they know, but could careless because they are bored and want to do PVP.

The gifts are tied to you if you put down the voyage or pick them up from the fort vault.

I was on a server discord and dig up another crews gifts by accident. I turned them in myself and they still got credit for handing them over to another crew.

As for gifts de spawning, never had that issue. I just leave the gifts behind. If no one claims them, I go and turn them in before I leave the game. If they disappear, it’s likely the work of a troll destroying them or PvP using them as bait for other crews. PvP players often put treasure on their ship to lure other players to attack them.

Myself and my mate had the same thing happen last night. We left gifts on the table at Reapers Hideout at different times. Came back at the end of the night to find a lot of them missing. None of the missing gifts had registered on our commendations. Despawn is what we suspect.
