Hello, we killed the captain in the fort of the damned and the key got stuck in texture, so we lost approximately 130K (double gold). What are we supposed to do?

@megaboomersk do it again? also sometimes everyone dying over and over can cause the island to reset and items to move out of textures. sometimes this puts them on top and sometimes underneath.
I'm guessing you dragged greymarrow down to cannon him?
Another good piece of advice is, if you are doing that when he really starts to crunch on bananas, pull him out of the dock area.

This, respawning together ofter fix stuck items.
Other than that, "what to do"? You still have the flames, worst comes worst do it again. Don't hold your breath for Rare to send you a cheque...
@megaboomersk It does suck but it is something we currently have to live with. If you notice him go into objects like the rock. You will need to have him reset in order to increase the likely-hood of getting the key.
I did FOTD about 15 times over the weekend and we only had one key get stuck and that was when he traveled into the rock moments before he was killed.
