Has anyone encountered an emergent Fort of the Damned?

    Season's 20's release notes say that Chests of Fortune may be found in emergent FoTDs.

    ("The following emergent World Events will have a chance for the Chest of Fortune to be part of the treasure on completion: Skeleton Forts, Reaper Fortresses, Fort of Fortune, Ashen Winds, Skeleton Fleets, Ghost Fleets, the Burning Blade and the Fort of the Damned.")

    We haven't had emergent FoTDs for quite some time. Has anyone encountered one?

    I still think that Chests of Fortune should reward Doubloons, but that's a different topic.

    Just a lack of specificity in the patch notes - lumping in the player triggered FotD with the other emergent World Events.

    There has never been an emergent FOTD. It's always player activated. I think this is just a slip up in the patch notes wording where it can appear in a FOTD, but those forts are not emergent.
