A while back I had actually made some posts (or was it replies) regarding Liar's Dice. Some would point out the game's rating or the idea that Disney had the rights to the game itself. Given Pirates of the Caribbean Online got away with Poker and Blackjack with a T rating, i'd certainly see SoT being able to get away with Liar's Dice. We also already have reference to it with the Rogue milestone items for Captaincy which has the Lucky Chance icon of dice and card suits, along with the previous season's gambler's items and the dice rolling emotes. I wouldn't force players to use doubloons or use ancient coins. Rather it would be strictly gold based and have a cap on how much that can be bet to avoid it being abused for gold laundering. I wouldn't have any form of drunk mechanic to it as the main enjoyment is in the game itself and I view such as unneeded. More so as to "so players won't stay there forever", the Legends of Pirates Online, a fan revival of PotCO, had a pleasant way to address this. For every loss a player takes, they lose one more dice from their cup, thus lowering the total amount of dice as the game goes on, and speeding up each round.
