I dont know how often fog appears or not, but i was online for about 3 hours last night and neither me or my mate were shrouded in thick fog. We saw storms around the whole time and a few skelly ships but not fog.
Just wondered how often it appears, whether there are different thicknesses of fog like there is the storm and how large of an area does the fog cover?
My first three sessions after the update I was in fog each time for a portion of that time. Doesn't last a long time. Depends what you are doing. Last night I played for almost 5 or so hours and didn't see it once. I usually play for two or three hours tops. I like that fog is not around everyday. I think that's realistic. But I bet quite often it appears but you are in the wrong area of the map when it does. Can't be sure though. All three times I experienced fog I was in the West end. I've never experienced fog in the East or Devil's Roar.
