I was in the same situation as you. In order to experience it you kind of have to search for it. It’s like the storm it may not be visible but it’s always present on the map. Oh yea and I also came across the crested queen meg and the Kraken at once.

My first three sessions after the update I was in fog each time for a portion of that time. Doesn't last a long time. Depends what you are doing. Last night I played for almost 5 or so hours and didn't see it once. I usually play for two or three hours tops. I like that fog is not around everyday. I think that's realistic. But I bet quite often it appears but you are in the wrong area of the map when it does. Can't be sure though. All three times I experienced fog I was in the West end. I've never experienced fog in the East or Devil's Roar.

I had the chance to see to Krakens(attacking someone else) and only see the two regular megalodons. The fog I have seen for a few seconds in the distance and have yet to encounter it with my crew. Was excited to get there reactions to it and have yet to be able to do so.

I've been seeing it pretty regularly. Skeleton boats too. Hardly any megs tho. 1 Kraken.

Id like to see it more often because i want to have battles within it and such
