A Rewarding Season
With three new Acts to explore, a collection of corresponding Deeds, new Events and overhauled Faction Battles, plus some choice cosmetics unlocked by earning Renown, there are plenty of rewards up for grabs in Season 19!
A Season of
Explosive Combat
Season 19 features a renewed focus on player-versus-player encounters, updating the mechanics of Faction Battles to ensure fairness and allowing you to get back into a new fight faster than ever. A familiar Event will be putting in a reappearance, we’ll celebrate Sea of Thieves’ eighth anniversary and a brand new way to engage in Faction Battles for Sloops will make a splash.
Act 1
Hourglass Evolved
Faction Battles are changing this Season, with the introduction of shrinking Battle Bounds forcing opposing crews closer together over time, until one emerges the victor! At the same time, new Faction Crates will ensure you’ll never sail into battle empty handed.
Fight Nights
As if the new mechanics weren’t enough of a reason to venture out on behalf of a Faction, during Act 1, all crews will have the chance of earning increased Allegiance – and an exclusive cosmetic reward – when the highly anticipated Fight Nights Event returns.
Eighth Anniversary
Alongside the PvP excitement, Sea of Thieves is turning eight! Throughout the month of March and beyond, we’ll be celebrating this momentous occasion with free gifts, a Community Weekend and even a Free Play Weekend so that everyone can join the party.
Act 2
Bilge Rats Weekender
The tradition of Act 2 focusing on in-game Events continues in Season 19 with the introduction of the Bilge Rats Weekender! During this Event, players will be able to complete challenges to earn fresh Doubloons, following the currency reset taking place at the start of the Season.
Black Market
With all those new Doubloons in circulation, you’ll need something to spend them on. That’s where the refreshed Black Market will come in! Between Duke and Larinna, players will be able to get their hands on new and returning cosmetics in return for a few of those blue coins…
Track Your Progress This Season
Looking for an extra challenge? Season 19 introduces a fresh round of Deeds to be completed, all in return for boosts to Seasonal Renown and exclusive cosmetic rewards. You’ll have all Season to complete the Act 1 Deeds, but be aware that the Deeds for Act 2 and 3 can only be completed within the Acts themselves. Good luck!
Stay on the cutting edge of pirate style by visiting the Pirate Emporium! As new arrivals come in every month – ship liveries, weapons, pets, costumes, emotes and more – there’s plenty to pick up with your Ancient Coins.
Plunder Pass Rewards
With the Season 19 Plunder Pass in hand, pirates who raise their Renown will rack up pieces of the Kraken’s Ruin collection, including the full ship set and Collector’s items, and the Kraken’s Ruin Mask, Hook and Jacket. Fully completing the Pass will also earn you a total of 750 Ancient Coins, on top of the 250 Ancient Coins available via the free rewards track!
Twitch Drops
Earn free goodies by watching participating streamers! Simply link your Sea of Thieves and Twitch accounts, then tune in when Twitch Drops are active to earn cosmetic rewards for use in your own adventures.
