To the Galleon Crew who ran from a sloop

  • So I decided to set me sights on a galleon this morn, out from the Ancient Isles I did sail, to Crow's Nest Fortress to stock up on black powder knowing my foe may be fierce and skulduggery may be the only way to succeed. After stocking up I set sail on the open seas. The Galleons lanterns shining on the distant horizon like a beacon, singing out to me, "Come Sink me!", she cried and answered her call did I. The Dread Captain Potbeard never runs from a fight. So with the wind at my back I ran up on her fast and and had my guns aimed true. Unleashed a hellish barrage unto the unsuspecting ship. I went by fast and came around for a second pass, laying into them again and again. Finally they began to fight back sending shots too short to reach. Eventually one lucky gunner managed to hit me hull, but it was minimal and easily repaired by a master of the seas such as I. They began to raise sail and run and I knew I had to give chase for the beast was wounded. So they headed south towards the dreaded red sea hoping to escape my blade. Followed them I did like the mad dog I am, hungry for his prey, but atlas they gave it all to the sea as they went beyond the horizon and underneath the waves. Taking their treasures with them to their graves. So take heed all ye' who have the misfortune of crossing the path of the Dread Captain Potbeard. I'll run ye down to yer watery graves.

To be honest though was a little surprised you ran from me in a solo sloop. But good on you whomever you are for taking your loot with you to the grave, perhaps we'll meet again. You can always look for my red skulls and flintlock coming onto the horizon.

  • @cptnpotbeard So, do you hear those voices too? Such as "Come Sink Me", "I'm a galleon fill with looooot!!!", "I'm a solo sloop please help me!" or "I beg you!! Sink me! this captain makes me seasick!"....so tempting, so captivating...

...and I keep sailing on the seven seas!
