Duke the one and only Bilge Rat and his locations

    So either this man can teleport or there’s need to be more Bilge Rats to give out quests or moved to a single location either every month he’s at a new outpost for example it’s a new event and he can only be found at golden sands for the month or he now at the Sea Dogs tavern which is also open in adventure mode(side note it should be open in adventure mode) and he give quests out from there just a neat little idea

    @otherfanboy I agree. I think we should have a different character in each outpost and that their title for the Bilge Rats is Duke. They can have the exact same dialogue, animations, everything, just a different figure - I think it could add some intrigue to the Bilge Rats.

    Add intrigue to the BRs? What's more intriguing than the idea that he only ever seems to be the only BR in existence and happens to be everywhere at once?

    There is probably a Lore reason why its the same guy on every outpost. All the other stores, npc's etc are different, only duke is the same. Something weird is going on there?!

    Well, Duke and also the Mysterious Stranger since the Anniversary Update.

    EDIT: I can only guess they use the legend cave to get quickly from one place to another

    @galactic-geek I think I'd be more intrigued if he dropped little dialogue hints about him being the only one. As it stands now it is a bit boring for me personally. I'd like to see the CR fleshed out a bit more. Let's start seeing more of them!

    Have you ever seen the Pokémon show on tv? All the Nurse Joys look identical and were all related. Could be the same thing.

    Honestly, why does it matter? If Duke is in one location then you must travel to him. This game has enough issues. Rare isn’t going to waste time creating other NPC to mimic Duke or the mysterious stranger

    @coffeelight5545 they made different characters for every shop hunters call and for every turn in for the cargo runs yet just one Bilge Rat it just seems like an off chose

    I’m aware of that. I play this game faithfully and know almost everything there is to know about this game.

    Rare designed it that way for a purpose. Either way, I don’t think Rare will put in the effort to change it
