I think that adding some sort of private servers for the people who just want to do quests would be a great addition to the game. I personally would enjoy having this in the game because I don’t really like playing by myself because I don’t like to meet other people.

I think most pirates who want such a version of the game will be back in the real game within one play session :) The pirates who complain about fleeing crews will be using that version though, so it might be a good idea ... ;)

Derogatory Language
Name calling, personal attacks and using derogatory language against Community Members, Rare Employees, Global Moderators or Deckhands is not acceptable. Using such language will result in a warning, then temporary ban from the Forums and a final warning. If the action is persistent or increasingly aggressive, a permanent ban from the Forums will be issued.

You bought a Shared workd adventure game but you dont like meeting other people ? Thats kinda ironic isnt it ?
Anyway it is here to stay, Rare has talked about private servers but not in a sense some people would like them, they are opposed to creating gold/rep/doubloon grinding servers.
They just want to create a way for people to host their own community events or create machinima’s.
For the meeting people part, the part that you most likely dont like is the risk of them sinking you, well the newly released code of conduct covers that:
Be a good sport. Sea of Thieves is a pirate game, and stealth, stealing and battles are all part of the fun. All pirates on the seas accept that, but be a good sportsman in both victory and loss.
