Prioritize to fill empty slots on open crews

@neetzilla If they added this change I can only imagine how horrible open crewing would be. As a player who frequents open crews, I HATE it when I join a random crew already doing something. There are a number of reasons for this but it mainly boils down to this one reason: most open crew players do not know what they are doing. Now I know that sounds harsh but it is honestly the truth. The majority of the time, players who are on open crews just start a voyage and leave without any preparation before hand. I can’t count the number of times I have joined into a crew on a voyage only to discover (to my dismay) that they have something like a measly five planks total. Joining into a crew with that kind of supply count is incredibly annoying, which is why I hate the change you are suggesting. There is also the fact that a majority of players (myself included), simply do not want to join right in the middle of some voyage. I mean lets be real here, no one wants to complete some random merchant alliance imitate voyage. Your suggestion (if implemented) would cause even more crew hopping because who would normally leave to get out of this terrible situation would be put right back in a similar one (if they are lucky they might get a decent ship and voyage). Honestly I think any open crew player should appreciate a fresh outpost ship spawn, as you get to choose decent voyages and actually grab basic supplies before you head out on your journey.

I understand what you’re saying. Problem is though I always play solo and join randoms and it takes me about 10 mins to find a team willing to stick around.
If I stick to the fresh spawn I’d be alone and not sure how long it would be before I get more team mates. Have tried before and got krakend on a Brig with nobody to help.
Perhaps there could be a choice when going in, start new voyage (fresh spawn) or join crew to fill open spots.
