Very High Ping

    Recently I have started playing Sea Of Thieves again, however, this time my ping is unbelievably high when I say high I mean like 795-1000. Before it would be around 100 sometimes less. The game is basically unplayable. I'm on pc and this is the only game I have high ping on and my wifi connection is solid. Anyone else experiencing this or know how to help?

    From what I understand normal is around 100. Are you sure too many people aren't on your wifi? Try checking to see who might be connected to it or buy a Ethernet cable theyre cheap and will help greatly

    @ajm123 Thanks for the tips but I tried those already. I disconnected all devices and it made no difference. I tried ethernet it improved the ping but to like 500 instead of 700 so unfortunately still unplayable. At this stage I'm really not sure what to do.

    Ahoy there, Sea of Thieves uses Microsoft Azure servers, so I would guess it might be dependent on where you're located?

    I'm in the UK though, and even I notice some unusually high ping from time to time.

    This post I made a while back might give some information or perhaps contacting Support for suggestions?
