Cinematic mode

    I've honestly no idea whether this has been suggested before so forgive me if it has...^^
    As someone who loves making videos I would enjoy an option to join random servers as spectator in order to be able to record videos.

    If you were to record something right now, the best you can do is deactivating all of the UI and record videos from one single perspective (your own). There could be so many cool videos/machinimas of the game as it theoretically offers so many great things/ideas. Not even talking about a full-grown video mode where you can record character movement etc (like in GTA V), I would be happy with things that many modern online games offer (Free cam, attach cam to certain objects/bones, camera settings etc etc.)

    I understand that this is probably not very easy to implement and that this kind of feature appeals to 0,5% of the playerbase, but I still think that it would add great fun and opportunities for content creation.

    I wouldn't mind something like a "spectate mode" in Arena when it comes. Just so we can watch like an audience, or as if we were watching a sports event. Sounds similar to what you are proposing, just on regular servers.

    I've been wanting this type of feature for quite awhile. GTA Online spoiled me with it's Rockstar editor feature.

    Just being able to cycle through player views would be fun, but I could see the possibility of cheating with party chat.

    Thought about this as well, though I think you could prevent this from happening by only being able to join random servers.

    Another possibilty would be to call this whole thing "parrot mode" or something like that. Players could then call in a freely controllable parrot in order to film stuff without getting any advantage in terms of enemy visibility.
